Happy 2014 to everyone! We have some new updates that have been added today.

Attach Files to Clients and Pets

You can now upload and attach files to clients and pets. Here's how it works:

  • On the Petcare > Client Profiles and Petcare > Pet Profiles pages there are now Attached Files fields. This allow you to browse for and upload one or more files that will be attached to that client or pet profile
  • You can upload nearly any kind of file type, including PDFs, documents and images
  • The files can be viewed by all staff with access to the client or pet
  • For security purposes you need to be logged in to view the files

Skip First/Last Day

We realize that some client requests (especially vacation visits) have a different schedule on the first and last day, depending on when the client is leaving and returning. Previously you would need to either create the entire request and then delete visits or create a separate request for each service/time. You will now be able to do this in a single request.

  • Click on the "New" button to add services. You will need to set Schedule Type as "Multiple Days" and add TWO OR MORE lines to the Services & Times
  • When you have done that you will see the services/times listed on both the Skip First Day and Skip Last Day fields. Checking any of those services/times will make it so that service/time will be skipped on the Start Date or on the End Date.
  • This can be done both by administrators from the Master Schedule page and by clients from their My Schedule page

Manual Client Email Confirmations

You no longer need to wait for the processing time for clients to receive email confirmations for their visits.

  • On the Master Schedule select the visit(s) that you want to confirm
  • Click on the "Confirm" button. You can add notes to the email that will be sent
  • Click on the "Send" button. The client(s) will receive an email with a list of confirmed visits just like they would have with the automatic confirmation emails
  • Once this is done the visit confirmation(s) will be marked as "Sent" and won't be sent out automatically
  • You can perform this manual sending even if a confirmation has already been sent
